Wes Ball is a film director, producer, and visual effects artist, widely recognized for his work in the "Maze Runner" trilogy (2014-2018) and "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" (2024). His directorial prowess was acknowledged early in his career, when he received a Student Academy Award for his short animated film, "A Work in Progress".
