Winston Duke

Winston Duke is an actor best known for his breakout role as M'Baku in Marvel's "Black Panther." Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Duke moved to the United States with his family at the age of nine. He pursued acting from a young age and eventually earned his bachelor's degree in theater from the University at Buffalo and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama, where he studied alongside fellow actor and future co-star Lupita Nyong'o.

Duke's portrayal of M'Baku, the powerful leader of the Jabari tribe, quickly made him a fan favorite. His character appeared in multiple Marvel films, including "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame." Duke's commanding presence, comedic timing, and layered performance brought depth to the role, earning him widespread acclaim.

Beyond the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Duke has taken on diverse roles in film and television. He starred in Jordan Peele's horror-thriller "Us," where he played a dual role as the head of the Wilson family and their sinister doppelgänger. He has also starred in other projects, including "Nine Days," "Spencer Confidential" and "The Fall Guy" and voiced characters in animated features.
