Nicholas Simmons, known by his stage name YBN Nahmir, is an American rapper and songwriter. He is known for his singles ""Rubbin Off the Paint" which charted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and "Bounce Out With That," which peaked at number one on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. Simmons founded the YBN Collective in 2014 in Birmingham, AL. The collective features artists YBN Jay and YBN Cordae. Simmons, who is originally from Alabama, now resides in Los Angeles and, despite dropping out of high school due to his music's gaining popularity, still plans to earn his diploma online.
