Younghoe Koo

Younghoe Koo is has been the kicker for the Atlanta Falcons since 2019 and is one of the most prolific scorers in the National Football League. He is sixth on the NFL's all-time leaderboard in field goal percentage and is one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history. He has set records in the following kicking categories: He ranks third for most points in team history, holds the record for the most made field goals in a single season with 37, and is the first player in franchise history to make at least eight field goals of at least 50 yards without a miss. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2020 after leading the league in scoring that year. He has been named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week and Month on multiple occasions and continues to be one of the Falcons' most proficient scoring players.

Koo went to college at Georgia Southern where he became the first player in school history to be named a finalist for the Lou Groza Award. He was the program's first FBS All-American and set a career record for career field goal percentage. Koo has a passion for giving back to both the Korean and American communities as he hosts an annual youth football camp. Koo is the face of Positive Athlete Georgia, an organization that recognizes those high school athletes who serve their communities in the most positive ways. He is the Georgia face of the WNB Wing Factory where his "Kicking Bourbon Bacon Koo Burger" is a family hit.

Koo just celebrated the birth of his first son with his lovely wife Ava. He is a role model for kids everywhere and is one of the bright faces and leaders of the Atlanta Falcons here in Georgia. He is living proof that nothing is impossible if you put your mind, heart and soul into it.
