She was 'The Mole' in the celebrity edition of ABC’s popular TV series shot in Hawaii and hosted and produced Cover Shot for Discovery’s TLC, in which she assembled an expert team of make-up artists and stylists to transform an everyday woman into a cover model.
Frederique’s native Holland bestowed a special distinction on her by naming a new breed of Lily after her. The Frederique’s Choice Lily was unveiled at a ceremony in Amsterdam. Inspired by the honor, Frederique developed, produced and hosted a television program, The Invisible Journey with Frederique, tracing the route a flower travels from the growing fields of Africa, through the markets and auction houses in the Netherlands, to a special event in New York City.
This experience led her to create a lifestyle brand within the flower industry, Frederique’s Choice, which launched in Europe in Spring 2008.
Today, Frederique remains active dividing her time between her work, numerous charities, and, most importantly, mother to daughter Scyler.
