Dr. Lonise P. Bias is an internationally recognized motivational speaker, trainer, certified teen and family life coach, and consultant. She is the president of Bspeaks, a life investment company that offers messages of hope, inspiration, and empowerment to various audiences including youth, families, communities, and workplace environments.

Dr. Bias began her career as a public speaker after the tragic deaths of her two sons. Her oldest son, Len Bias, died from cocaine intoxication in June 1986, just two days after being drafted by the Boston Celtics, and her second son, Jay Bias, was killed in a drive-by shooting in December 1990. These personal tragedies propelled her into activism, focusing on critical issues such as drug and alcohol abuse, bullying, gangs, violence, and broader community concerns within schools and neighborhoods.

She has developed several impactful programs including W.I.T. (Women In Training Teen program for girls), M.I.T. (Men in Training teen program for boys), H.O.P.E. (Helping Our Parents to Endure and Excel Parenting Program), W.O.L. (Women of Light Speakers Series), and M.O.V. (Men of Valor Speaker Series). Dr. Bias delivers keynote addresses and has spoken at both national and international levels, including notable events like "Women's Equity Day" at Fort Knox Kentucky in August 2016, and a youth program attended by Queen Sylvia of Sweden. Her clients include diverse sectors such as the White House ONDPC Program, various federal and local government agencies, faith-based communities, and the military.

Throughout her career, Dr. Bias has been honored with an honorary doctorate of Education from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts, for her life experiences and significant contributions to community advocacy.
