Her critically acclaimed novel, "Color Me Butterfly," draws from her family's harrowing encounters with domestic abuse. In this poignant narrative, she unfolds the lives of four generations of mothers and daughters, each affected by the shadow of violence, yet bound by resilience, hope, and the courage to persevere.

Marlow is also the founder of Saving Promise—a national organization dedicated to raising domestic violence awareness. Inspired by her granddaughter, Promise, who was endangered by a domestic violence incident, Marlow aims to elevate Domestic Violence Awareness to the same national prominence as Breast Cancer Awareness. Through her commitment, vision, and passion, she engages a broad spectrum of society—from survivors and advocates to corporate executives and social leaders—in her mission to eradicate domestic violence.

In addition to her literary and advocacy work, Marlow has successfully transitioned from a corporate career to focusing full-time on writing and public advocacy. She is a recognized expert on domestic violence and an advocate for empowerment, having developed the "P3 Theory" which emphasizes discovering one's passion, purpose, and power. Her keynote program, "The Saving Promise Story: From Tragedy to Triumph," offers an impactful narrative about the effects of domestic violence on families and communities, blending practical insights with a message of positive transformation.
