After receiving her first Ph.D. at the age of 24 from the University of Minnesota in Communication Disorders, and her MS from the University of Michigan in Speech Pathology, Dr. Glass began her career treating patients with severe cranial and facial deformities. She conducted research and published numerous articles in medical and professional journals on the psychological and communication aspects of individuals with these deformities. After completing a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Medical Genetics at UCLA School of Medicine, where she was both the youngest and the only Ph.D. in an MD program, she joined the faculty at USC. There, she taught in the medical and dental schools and in the liberal arts college. During her tenure at USC, Dr. Glass also received formal journalism training. Later, she earned her second Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology.
Dr. Glass has provided specialized training to law enforcement and security groups including the FBI, Women in Federal Law Enforcement, Infraguard, and various police departments across the US and Canada. Her Human Lie Detection Analysis and body language analysis instruction have been crucial in enhancing the interview, interrogation, and surveillance skills of police officers. Additionally, her workshops on Gender Differences in Communication have helped law enforcement personnel understand and navigate male/female communication nuances more effectively during their duties.
Dr. Glass has authored numerous books and tapes that have been translated into many languages worldwide.
