As Global Chief Creative Officer, Colleen DeCourcy leads the eight-office global network of Wieden+Kennedy alongside Global President Dave Luhr. For more than three decades, the fiercely independent shop has been telling beautiful, provocative stories and setting the bar for creativity. Colleen is charting and implementing the vision for the agency’s future and has been instrumental in establishing the first of many proof points that W+K is a culture for all kinds of creative people, including the rise of the agency’s creative technology group, The Lodge, and content publishing across the network. Colleen joined the agency in 2013 and became partner in 2014.
Ms. Colleen DeCourcy has been Global Co-Executive Creative Director at Wieden & Kennedy, Inc. since January 11, 2013. Ms. DeCourcy has been Global Chief Digital Officer of TBWA Worldwide since September 2007. She works on client engagements and new business opportunities across the Organic network while specializing in creative brand management and user experience strategies. She is responsible for TBWA's digital strategy across a number of clients, including Nissan, Mars, Apple and Sony PlayStation. She founded Socialistic in 2010.
She served as Chief Creative Officer and Vice President of Organic, Inc. since September 2005. She is the Founder of a New York social media company. Ms. DeCourcy served as Executive Creative Director of Organic Inc. from April 12, 2004 to September 2005. She served as the Creative Director in Toronto for the last three and a half years and, most recently, she has created award-winning online experiences for Bell Canada (Bell Solo/MusicMatch/Gamesmania and Bell.ca), Honda Element, Acura, Seiko, President's Choice, Benjamin Moore, Aliant, Sony Canada and others.
She served as the Chief Experience Officer at JWT New York and was also the Vice-president and Chief Creative Officer at Omnicom's interactive agency Organic. Prior to Organic, Ms. DeCourcy served as the Director of Creative Strategy at ICE, Integrated Communications and Entertainment, producing award-winning cross-platform media for clients including LaSenza, Wet Seal, PriceWaterhouseCooper's, TrizecHahn, Zero Knowledge, and Air Canada. She also served as the Chief Creative Officer for Spafax/Aspen PLC located in London, where she served with brands such as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Airshow, Royal Emirates Airlines, El Al, Singapore Airlines, Air Canada, Cathay Pacific, Tate Gallery, Blueprint Magazine and Sainsbury's.
She has been a Member of the Agency Advisory Board at Interactive Advertising Bureau, Inc since February 2009. She was the creative lead on the award-winning Dodge Charger 'Unleash your Freak' campaign, among many other successful websites and online advertising projects, and also served as the Internet Jury Chair for the Clio Awards. Ms. DeCourcy won the Red Bull and Fast Company accounts and led work for Showtime, Coke and General Electric.
