Carcia established the fastest known time for climbing all 48 peaks in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the fastest known time for hiking all 652 trails listed in the official "White Mountain Guide," a feat known as the "Redline."

Of the 60 people who have completed the White Mountain Redline, Philip is only the second to have done so in under a year, and currently holds the "Fastest Known Time" for the effort in 99 days, 9 hours, 30 minutes. "In a Single Season" takes you way off the beaten path and directly beside Philip as he details what it was like to walk 20 miles per day for nearly 100 days, without a day off, in the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire.
