26 Days In April (A Celebration of The 504 Protests of 1977) An interactive and expressive arts workshop celebrating The 504 Protests of 1977 when disabled activists lead a 26-day sit-in in the Old Federal Building in San Franciso to protest that the 504 ( legislation that would guarantee programs funded by the federal government could not discriminate against someone based on his/her disability) had not been signed. Diana brings this important part of American History and Disability Civil Rights to life through an exciting audience interactive expressive arts experience.
