Alava’s adoration for the arts began at childhood which inspired an enchantment with music and theatre. Her passion grew through performing arts school and led to a Master's in Entertainment Business. Over the last decade, Alava’s career in entertainment & media has included Film/TV production - both in front of and behind the camera, development of unscripted television projects, and management of creative partnerships. Driven by a belief that vulnerability stimulates human connection, she boasts a love for storytelling and creativity that inspires through challenge and provokes empathy through magic. A first generation Latinx mom of a young daughter and son - she finds great responsibility in her advocacy of inclusiveness & equality to help cultivate a kinder, more positive, and sincere world.

Robinson started her career as a legislative analyst on Capitol Hill. She then spent 11 years on-air as an award-winning television news reporter & anchor. She covered breaking news, family and lifestyle content, career development, and technology news. Robinson has a passion for telling stories that evoke thoughtful conversations, challenge cultural stereotypes about women, and expand perspectives. As an entrepreneur, she understands the experiences of female founders and working parents. Women lead "portfolio lives" with multiple roles and responsibilities that often compete.
