Currently, Archbold has transitioned from active duty after serving for over three decades, including as a combat-tested officer. His last role on active duty involved serving as a security advisor, briefing the director of the Second Security Force Assistance Brigade. Archbold's leadership experience spans managing teams ranging in size from six to 120 members in both garrison environments and in support of combat operations.

Archbold holds a master's degree in Operational Studies from the Command and General Staff College and a Master's in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University.
