Chef Dalia David is the first South Indian Wellness Chef and Finalist to appear on the Food Network Show “Chopped”, featured in Epicurious, Bon Appetit, and Simply Recipes and is one of New York’s prominent community-driven celebrity wellness chefs. David is on a mission to bring cultural humility and self awareness through the meals we eat. She is a wellness cuisine specialist.

Chef David is the founder of Honest Eating, a social experience platform that brings teams & communities together for a cooking demo to discuss these important concerns to learn from each other and make an impact. She is also available as a keynote speaker and panelist.
David also creates immersive eating experiences for community and team bonding that is multi-sensory. Groups explore their taste buds together. Attendees gain insight into personal palate and have spirited discussions around what they’re eating and thinking about with flavor combinations.This helps participants get to know one another in a deeper and more personal way.
David grew up on a pineapple plantation in Southern India where her meals were meant to nourish and sustain, she discovered that what we think about how we eat has a profound impact on how we feel about ourselves. David teaches people how to look inwards to find their own eating solutions. She combines her innate skills of cooking with helping people understand their relationship with food so they feel confident to design their own gratifying eating habits.
David studied Plant Nutrition at Cornell University and worked in esteemed NYC kitchens of Jean Georges’ Spice Market, Pure Food & Wine in Gramercy, The James Beard House, and as LinkedIn’s head vegetarian chef out of one of the first ghost kitchens in NYC. She earned her culinary degree from Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC which is now part of Institute of Culinary Education (ICE).
As a chef entrepreneur she has partnered with many high profile names such as Citigroup, Linkedin, Dalio Philanthropies, American Heart Association & General Catalyst to name a few. Prior to her chef career she worked as a Dale Carnegie Trainer & Consultant focused on coaching and providing solutions in the areas of Public Speaking, Effective Human Relations and Winning with Relationship Selling. She served as the President of her Toastmasters community in Philadelphia, PA.
