I am a clinical laboratory scientist who currently focuses on laboratory medicine advocacy. I have been a guest on Podcasts for our national laboratory licensing organization. I recently joined other clinicians and researchers on their podcasts to educate others on the clinical laboratory medicine field.

Additionally, I have furthered my education and studied Functional Medicine. My clinical diagnostic experience combined with Functional Medicine has ignited a passion for health down to the cellular level. My goal is to help others through personal weight loss experiences combined with her laboratory and Functional Medicine knowledge.

During the day, I currently work for a life sciences biotechnology company to design training materials as well as educate their Fortune 500 customers on software and devices. In my free time, I work with my alumni groups to host cancer walks and charity events.

I'd like to take a deep dive into scenarios of clinical laboratory worker burnout, challenges within the field, and what we could do to educate our future workforce to prevent a shortage of these professionals.
