Born in Hollywood, Cody moved to Santa Monica eight years later, where she has lived ever since. As one of four girls in her family of six, Cody found her identity through her love of acting and performing for others. Cody's ambition was clearly unstoppable to everyone around her from very early on. After participating in numerous school plays, Cody's thirst for acting only grew as she realized her fervor for performing, and portraying characters.
At 13-years-old, she was discovered by a manager that placed her in acting classes with some of the top acting coaches in the business. Cody spent time studying musical theatre, however acting in television and film surfaced as her true passions.
Cody's very first jobs included appearing in Jon McLaughlin's 2006 "Beautiful Disaster" music video and making cameos in videos for top artists including Miley Cyrus, Mitchel Musso, Esmee Denters, T. Mills, Jackson Harris, Kevin McCullough, Leona Lewis, etc. From music videos, she transitioned smoothly into modeling, and in 2009 modeled in Fashion Week for designers Chelsea Rebelle and The Battalion, which led to a feature in Nylon Magazine Online. She was the Box Eight LA Fashion Week Host, and hosted additional Young Hollywood shows at the Los Angeles Theatre. In addition, Cody has done modeling campaigns for Volcom, StampD'LA, Raw Girls, Purlieu, Native American Vintage, Hippo Gorilla Giraffe Vintage Clothes, Jayro White, Sarah Jessica Parker's clothing line Bitten, Puma, Nike, and Eastpack.

n the television and film front, Cody has guest starred on Disney Channel's "The Suite Life on Deck", playing the coveted role of the Junior Chess Champion of Russia, Sasha Matryoshka. She has booked several national commercials for top companies including McDonald's, Sears, and Red Bull.
She played "Brittney" in the feature film Tru Loved, which won numerous awards in the festival circuit supporting Gay rights. Cody has also booked roles on many acclaimed television series including CSI: NY, Law & Order: LA, Rizzoli & Isles, Greek, Glee, The Cape, Castle, Newsreaders, Entourage, and NCIS. However she is best known in television for her role on A&E's "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."
This year Cody worked with Anchorman's David Koachner and David Hasselhoff in John Gulager's Piranha 3DD, where she parodies herself as a feisty lifeguard. Not to mention Cody won the lead role of Camille Renee in the quirky romantic comedy "Parallel Misdirection".
This August Cody begins production on her first horror/thriller called "Consumed" directed by Dustin Jacobs where she plays the sexy yet insecure lead role of Cali. But that's not all folks, Cody created her own production company entitled "IT Girl Productions".
She recently wrote, co-directed, and stars in the feature film "Stuck", which is already in talks of worldwide distribution. She was also recently featured and chosen as NYLON magazine's October "It Girl" alongside Zooey Deschanel. She will star in ABC's upcoming TV series "Super Fun Night"
