His unique style, velvety-smooth baritone voice, and engaging delivery have reinvigorated the art of newscasting, which most recently earned him the coveted Edward R. Murrow Award for "Best Newscast". Mullins has a knack for making even complex stories simple, serious stories palatable, and the quirkiest stories downright hilarious! His human inflection, emotions, and his laugh are real, and his smile can be heard in his voice.
