In addition to his beautiful landscapes, he specializes in tree care and has consulted in many U.S. states, Mexico, and Canada, diagnosing complex urban tree issues. Seargeant’s passion for trees led him to study under Dr. Alex Shigo for six years, and he has become an authority on forensic tree analysis.

His work saving protected valley oak trees earned him the prestigious Friends of the Oaks Award. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture, he has over 40 years of experience in trees and landscaping and has been an expert witness in tree-related lawsuits. He is a published author, writer, award-winning photographer and film producer.
