Pamela Meyer is the founder and CEO of Calibrate, a leading deception detection training company based in Washington DC. She is the author of the best-selling book "Liespotting: Proven Techniques to Detect Deception," and has delivered a popular TED Talk titled "How to Spot a Liar," which has been viewed over 20 million times and translated into more than 40 languages. Before establishing herself as a top expert in lie detection, she spent years with a team of researchers surveying all the research findings on deception, while also undergoing extensive training in facial micro-expression identification, interrogation skills, and statement analysis.

Before her current ventures, Meyer was an Internet and media executive, having significant roles at National Geographic, Vestron, Electronic Arts, and as founder of Simpatico Networks, a New York-based social media company. She holds an MBA from Harvard and a Masters in Public Policy from Claremont Graduate School.
