Aadil Palkhivala

With degrees in law, physics, and mathematics, Aadil Palkhivala is known as one of the world’s top yoga teachers and, for over 40 years has had the reputation as the "teacher of teachers," since the world’s finest teachers study with him.

Palkhivala is the author of "Fire of Love: for Students of Life, for Teachers of Yoga", a book that seeks to restore the essence of yoga, as well as the book that teaches how to strengthen the eyes, SuperVision. He has also co-authored five Teacher Training manuals with Savitri, which are used in his beginning, intermediate, and therapeutic teacher trainings. In addition, Palkhivala has taught and lectured worldwide including Yoga Journal Conferences, Omega Institute, The Himalayan Institute. He has written extensively for Yoga Journal, developed and taught the first year-long Teacher Training at YogaWorks, was a founder of Yoga Alliance (fka Unity in Yoga). Palkhivala passion is to help his students find health, wealth and happiness.

Palkhivala also served on the speaker faculty for iLearning Global, alongside Brian Tracy, Jim Cathcart, Tony Alessandra and more. Aadil is the co-founder and co-director of internationally-renowned Alive and Shine® Center and Purna Yoga® College, which offers 200-hour, 500-hour, 2,000-hour, 5,000+hour and Yoga Therapy Teacher Training programs.

Starting with a bachelor’s degree in physics and math, Palkhivala eventually got a degree in law. He practiced law in Washington State until resigning to devote his energies to his life-purpose of exploring and teaching Purna Yoga. He has a passion for the arts, especially poetry, and has intensively studied elocution, operatic singing, Japanese flower arranging, painting, and drawing. Palkhivala and Savitri co-hosted the Alive and Shine Radio Show for over 3 years."
