Aaron Blight

Aaron Blight, Ed.D., is an international speaker and consultant on caregiving, aging, and healthcare. He is the founder of Caregiving Kinetics and has been instrumental in shaping discussions around caregiving through his roles as a family caregiver, home care company owner, caregiving scholar, and policy leader at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. His depth of experience offers a unique perspective into the personal and systemic aspects of caregiving.

Blight has authored the book "When Caregiving Calls: Guidance as You Care for a Parent, Spouse, or Aging Relative," which earned a 2020 Best Indie Book Award and a 2021 Independent Publishers Book Award. In recognition of his leadership and influence in healthcare, he has been named a "Top 100 Healthcare Leader" by the International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare. Blight holds a Doctor of Education (Human & Organizational Learning) degree from The George Washington University, enriching his talks and consultations with a strong academic foundation.

Currently, he serves as an adjunct professor of healthcare management and public health at Shenandoah University. He is also an honorary board member of the Well Spouse Association and an advisory board member of the Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging.
