Adaeze Enekwechi

Longtime healthcare executive and former Obama Administration health official Adaeze Enekwechi, PhD, MPP, is the CEO of maternal health startup Cayaba Care. Dr. Enekwechi brings with her extensive experience in healthcare policy, research, and management to the role, leading Cayaba Care into its next phase of growth.

Previously, Dr. Enekwechi served as President of IMPAQ, LLC, where she successfully led the company through its acquisition after growing its portfolio in research, technical assistance, and advanced analytics services for federal clients. She also spent many years in federal policy roles at the Congressional Budget Office, the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, and she was the Head of Health Programs at the White House Office of Management and Budget under President Obama. There, she led policy, budget and regulatory oversight for over $1 trillion in spending across all federal health agencies and programs during an active period in health policy and healthcare reform.

Dr. Enekwechi is also an Operating Partner at WCAS, a leading technology and healthcare investment firm, where she leverages her expertise in healthcare policy and outcomes research to support growth-oriented healthcare companies. She also serves on the boards of organizations such as MedStar Health, The Alliance for Health Policy, The Public Health Institute, and Liberty Dental Plan. She remains an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in Montgomery County, MD.
