Adrian Grenier

Adrian Grenier is an actor, producer, director, and musician known for portraying Vincent Chase in the television series "Entourage." He also appeared in films such as "Drive Me Crazy," "The Devil Wears Prada," "Trash Fire," and "Marauders." In 2021, Grenier expanded his acting portfolio by taking a role in the Netflix series "Clickbait."

In 2001, Grenier started Reckless Productions, a company focused on producing socially-minded films. He directed and produced the documentary "Shot in the Dark," which premiered at the 2002 Tribeca Film Festival. His directorial skills are also showcased in the documentary "Teenage Paparazzo," and he produced the documentary "How to Make Money Selling Drugs." Besides his work in film and television, Grenier's passion for music has led him to play guitar, bass, drums, and harmonica. He was the lead singer in the band Kid Friendly and the drummer in The Honey Brothers. In May 2012, Grenier built Wreckroom, a music incubator and recording studio. Wreckroom releases EPs and a video series of cover songs called "Under the Covers." He co-wrote the song "the master and margarita" with artist SORAYA.

Grenier has cemented his reputation as an advocate for sustainable living and environmental issues. He co-founded the lifestyle brand SHFT.com in 2010, which promotes sustainability through film, design, art, and culture. He also launched Earth Speed Media, a think tank and content-production firm focusing on sustainability, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship. Grenier is a United Nations Environment Goodwill Ambassador and advocates for reducing single-use plastic and protecting marine species. Additionally, he is an Ambassador at the UN Environment Programme Clean Seas, a campaign to end marine plastic pollution. He is the first Chief Earth Advocate for the space tourism company World View, inspiring new perspectives on the planet and encouraging more profound respect for it as a living organism. His commitment to sustainable practices was recognized when he became a finalist for the Food Innovator Awards for his SHFT Mobile Kitchen Classroom.

Alongside his environmental advocacy, Grenier is a Bitcoin advocate and is developing a farming community in Texas that would use cryptocurrency for exchange. He detailed his plan to build a communal farm in Texas and how bitcoin is central to it in an interview with CNBC. Grenier currently resides in Austin, TX, on his sustainable farm with his wife, Jordan Roemmele, and their baby boy. Their eco-friendly efforts include growing much of their own food, using regenerative practices to replenish the soil, and creating a wildlife sanctuary. The 46-acre property is home to various species, including bobcats, wild boar, fish, egrets, hawks, vultures, ducks, llamas, donkeys, goats, and chickens. Grenier finds his life in Texas to be “a breath of fresh air” after his time in Hollywood.
