Alexis Ren

Alexis Ren is a social media influencer, model, and entrepreneur. One of the most recognizable influencers in the world, Ren is an advocate of empowerment for young women through authenticity, spirituality, mental health, and utilizing social media to make a positive impact.

Born Alexis René Glabach, she grew up in Santa Monica, California, and was homeschooled. She was discovered at age 13 and became a model for Brandy Melville.

Ren's mother died in 2014 from breast cancer, and after her passing, Ren developed an eating disorder, later stating that she was in a "toxic" state of mind at that time.

She became a social media phenomenon at age 15 when photos of her in a black string bikini posing by the pool went viral on Tumblr. Since then, she has been a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie of the Year (2018), and she competed on season 27 of "Dancing with the Stars." She was partnered with professional dancer Alan Bersten, who she was later romantically linked to. She is also known for having dated To All The Boys I've Loved Before star Noah Centineo.

She was Maxim's cover girl for the August 2017 issue and she was included in Maxim's Hot 100 list of Sexiest Women in the World in 2019.

In October 2019, she starred as "Scarlet Jones" in the music video for Ed Sheeran's "South of the Border." Before that, she was also featured in the music video for Kygo's "Not Ok."
