Dr. Anne-Marie Imafidon is CEO, ‘Head Stemette’ & Co-Founder of Stemettes, an award-winning social enterprise inspiring the next generation of females into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) roles. As part of this initiative, she has also co-founded Outbox Incubator: the world’s first tech incubator for teenage girls.
At the age of 11, Dr. Imafidon passed her computing A-Level; by the age of 20, she was one of the youngest to ever receive a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford. A respected thought-leader in the tech space and Chair at the Institute for the Future of Work, Dr. Imafidon was awarded an MBE in 2017 for her work as a renowned champion and inspiration for women in the world of STEM.
An international speaker, Dr. Imafidon was named to both Forbes' The World's Top 50 Women in Tech and Europe's Top 50 Women in Tech lists in 2018, and voted the Most influential Woman in UK Tech by Computer Weekly in 2020. She was the 2022-2023 President of the British Science Association and is an Honorary Fellow at Keble College. She is the author of "She’s in CTRL."
