Ben Pring

Ben Pring is the co-founder and former leader of Cognizant's Center for the Future of Work. He is the co-author of a number of significant publications, including the best-selling and award-winning books, "What To Do When Machines Do Everything," "Code Halos: How the Digital Lives of People, Things, and Organizations are Changing the Rules of Business," "Monster: Taming the Machines that Rule Our Lives, Jobs, and Future," and "Certain Uncertainty: Leading With Agility and Resilience in an Unpredictable World."

In addition to his writing, Pring actively participates in academic discussions about the future of labor. He is a member of the advisory board of the Labor and Work Life program at Harvard Law School and has contributed his expertise to the esteemed Bilderberg Meeting. Pring's thought leadership and influence have led to him being named one of the 30 leading management thinkers by Thinkers 50 and one of the 10 leading influencers on the future of work by Onalytica.

Before joining Cognizant in 2011, Pring had a 15-year tenure at Gartner, where he conducted research and provided advice on areas such as Cloud Computing and Global Sourcing. His work at Gartner earned him the prestigious annual Thought Leader award. His insights and analyses have been featured in numerous media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the London Times, Forbes, Fortune, the MIT Review, the Daily Telegraph, Quartz, Inc., Axios, the Australian, the Economic Times, as well as Harvard Business Review. He has also made appearances on major broadcast programs such as BBC’s News Night, BBC World Service, PBS’s News Hour, and NPR’s On Point.
