Bhawna Provenzano

Bhawna Provenzano is the current Director of Benefits & Wellness Programs at Blackline, a software development company, and a former director at Twitch and Zappos. She researched, analyzed, advised, and resolved a variety of benefits and perks needs, and provided strategic direction on the development of benefits-related policies and processes. At Twitch, she implemented the company's first financial wellbeing program and increased wellness program utilization.

She joined Zappos in 2010 and is the Director of Employee Benefits and Diversity. Her preferred pronouns are she/her. Since 2010, she has channeled her passion for employee health and wellbeing by leading the overhaul of the Zappos’ benefits and wellness programs. Some of the nontraditional benefits that she has implemented include the company’s first 24/7 fitness center complete with on-site classes, an in-house holistic wellbeing program, expanded maternity and parental leave, and other rotating perks such as on-site counseling, massage, and chiropractor. Recently, she has been involved with redeveloping the company’s inclusion and diversity initiatives.

Prior to joining Zappos, Provenzano spent time working at Station Casinos and Nordstrom in Benefits/HR. Originally from the Detroit Metro area, she graduated from Oakland University in Michigan and went on to receive her master’s degree in HR from Penn State University. When not working, she is in the cheering section at her daughter’s softball games while simultaneously running after her two little boys and telling her teenage son to get off the phone. Eventually she will begin traveling overseas again when the kids have outgrown the stage of putting everything in their mouths!
