Bill Catlette

Bill Catlette is a seasoned human resources consultant with over 30 years of experience in helping build highly successful organizations. He is a best-selling author, renowned for his expertise in Human Resources, and has notable publications like "Contented Cows Still Give Better Milk: The Plain Truth about Employee Engagement and Your Bottom Line" and "Rebooting Leadership: Practical Lessons for Frontline Leaders (and their bosses) in the New World." Catlette's work has significantly advanced the understanding of leadership and employee engagement in the business world.

In his career, Catlette has held various management and executive positions in Human Resource departments across well-regarded service distribution firms. His corporate journey includes impactful roles at Genuine Parts Company, the Atlanta-based distribution arm of NAPA; Automatic Data Processing, where he served as the company's Corporate Manager of Employee Relations; and Federal Express Corporation. At Federal Express, as a Managing Director, he and his team developed many of the Human Resource programs which contributed to the company's recognition as one of the nation’s 5 Best Managed Companies (Forbes) and one of the 100 Best Companies in America to Work For. Following his tenure at Federal Express in 1989, he founded The Westar Group, a consulting firm focusing on Employee Relations, Teamwork, Leadership Development, and Business Strategy. Additionally, Catlette founded Contented Cow Partners, which aims to develop leaders, improve talent management, transform cultures, and enhance performance.

With more than 5,000 hours spent delivering speeches to business leadership groups, Catlette is an accomplished speaker and seminar leader.
