Dan Aykroyd

Daniel Aykroyd is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, musician, and filmmaker who gained fame as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) where he was known for his political satire and impersonations, particularly of Presidents Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter. He has created memorable characters and duos such as the Coneheads and The Blues Brothers, the latter of which carried over to the cult classic films "The Blues Brothers" (1980) and "Blues Brothers 2000" (1998).

Aykroyd's film career includes performances in a wide range of movies such as “Ghostbusters” where he played Dr. Raymond Stantz, "Driving Miss Daisy" which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, and other notable films including "Dragnet," "Grosse Pointe Blank," and "Pearl Harbor." He also appeared in "50 First Dates" and "Behind the Candelabra."
