As star of the Food Network's hit show "Rescue Chef," Danny Boome is known for his ability to solve any kitchen crisis while catering to the preferences of various eaters. Boome developed a passion for cooking while working as an au pair in Switzerland. His first chef position at the Asia de Cuba restaurant in St. Martins Lane London Hotel sparked his love for fusion cooking. To further his culinary education and inspire everyday cooks, he explored various cultures in North America and Europe to learn about the origins of food and drink.

Boome's charisma and culinary knowledge led to a successful career in television, starting with hosting "Wild and Fresh" in Canada, where he embarked on a culinary journey exploring the country’s best dishes. His role in the 2006 series "Coastal Kitchen," along with appearances as a judge on UKTV Food's "Local Food Heroes," helped establish him as a culinary authority. More recently, he hosted "Good Food America," which was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Culinary Host in 2015. In the show, he explored organic and sustainable food sources across 25 states and over 100 restaurants. Currently, Boome is involved with "Feducation," a program addressing the service industry labor shortage by providing education and employment opportunities. He is also the founder and CEO of the "Better FED Project" in Rochester, NY, focusing on urban farming and food education. His talk "Foodanomics" discusses the economics of food in the U.S., emphasizing the impact of food costs, imports, and the future of food economics in the country.

An advocate for educating a broad audience on healthy eating and understanding food sources, Boome also developed the first prenatal and postnatal restaurant in the UK, focusing on diets that support breastfeeding and clean eating for new parents.
