Daphne de Jong Biography
As a trained commercial pilot (she once was qualified to fly a Boeing 737) and aerospace engineer, Daphne de Jong was part of the first Amazon Prime Air customer delivery in the UK. She was a leader for Prime Air on its Integrated Vehicle Platform team, responsible for hardware and software integration on the vehicles. Her work with Amazon Prime landed her a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Consumer Technology.
After leaving Amazon Prime, she became the technical program manager at Waymo (formerly Google Self-Driving Car Project), where she works on technology to make roads safer and easier to navigate.
