Dave Gold Biography
In the penitentiary town where he practiced law, Dave Gold was known as "The Terrier." As one of his inmate clients explained, “You’re small, but once you get your teeth into something, you keep shaking it until you bring it down."
Dave Gold "sank his teeth" into seemingly contradictory worlds. Following law school, he moved to West Virginia to live a renunciate life with American Zen Master Richard Rose while building a thriving law practice that he successfully exited by age 40. He fought corruption, resulting in a contract placed on his life by a corrupt Hare Krishna Guru (you can't make this stuff up!). Next, he co-founded and sold a software company while still finding time to spiritually mentor countless students at Duke, UNC, and NC State. His life changed forever in 2014 when a love beyond his dreams parachuted into his life, ending his lifelong “perfection project” and liberating him to experience the peace, joy, and freedom of self-acceptance and to help others find the same by just being themselves.
