David E. Hull-Watters

David E. Hull-Watters is an Inclusion and Wellbeing Specialist currently serving as an Associate Consultant and Trainer for the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion, and EMBED Inclusion. He is renowned for his expertise in fostering conscious inclusion, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and wellbeing. His keynotes and training cover a broad range of topics including Neurodiversity in the Workplace, LGBTQ+ Awareness and Allyship, Conscious Inclusion, Inclusive Leadership and Recruitment, Disability Confident Practice, and Inclusive Language and Accessible Communication.

Originally a Specialist Educational Needs and Trauma-Informed educator, Hull-Watters champions the right of every individual to achieve their fullest potential, both personally and professionally, so that they are not held back by limiting labels. He addresses critical societal topics like LGBTQIA+ issues, neurodiversity, and inclusive leadership in his speeches. Hull-Watters has also founded international campaigns and collaborated with prominent corporations to advance inclusion and diversity.

Hull-Watters is a winner of multiple awards including Corporate Vision’s Most Dedicated Inclusivity Trainer 2023 (UK), a Vodafone World of Difference Award, a National Diversity Award 2014, and was shortlisted for a European Diversity Award 2015 and an Excellence in Diversity Award 2015. He is also the Diversity Champion Award: Education Sector winner at The Excellence in Diversity Awards 2017. Notably, he is a celebrated Marriage Equality Pioneer, actively involved in campaigning for marriage legislation changes, and serves as the Sexuality Lead for National Hate Crime Awareness Week. Hull-Watters has delivered keynotes and workshops for organizations such as Border Force, the British Library, British Transport Police, and the NHS, among many others. He is also preparing to publish "Never Blend In – LGBTQ+ Stories of Resilience and Empowerment" and has authored the foreword for "Retreating Forward: A Spiritual Practice with Transgender Persons" by David Elias Weekley. Additionally, he supports clients and businesses as a Wellbeing Coach and has developed comprehensive wellbeing programs for organizations like The City of Edinburgh Council.
