David Glickman

Glickman has been presenting programs to healthcare professionals since 1981. He began his career as the director of public relations for the American Heart Association of Greater Miami. In this role, he made media appearances and spoke about the risks associated with heart disease and stroke.

In 1985, he left the American Heart Association to become a full-time speaker and entertainer, specializing in finding humor in the hectic healthcare environment. Since then, he has delivered over 2,000 programs, emphasizing the importance of humor in reducing workplace stress through his keynote "A Dose of Healthcare Humor."

Glickman's experience extends beyond healthcare-focused events. He has appeared on "Evening at the Improv" and other national television shows. He has opened for notable personalities such as The Beach Boys, Engelbert Humperdinck, Ellen DeGeneres, and Ray Romano, and has performed at private events for celebrities like Gloria Estefan.

Apart from his entertainment career, Glickman is a successful business owner, running several comedy clubs in South Florida and Atlantic City Casinos, noted for their acclaim in publications including Rolling Stone magazine. He brings this business acumen to his corporate presentations, sharing strategies and customized business humor with Fortune 500 companies.

Glickman is also the author of "Punchline Your Bottom Line: 76 Ways to Get Any Business Audience Laughing," which includes a foreword by Dave Barry. This book reflects his expertise in crafting humor that resonates with business professionals, enhancing the effectiveness of corporate events.
