Once a troubled outcast who could not find her place in society, Deb is now a confident young woman with a successful business who is training for the 2012 Paralympic games in London. She raised $10 000 in 14 days to acquire her first ever bike, a racer that she took home on Christmas Eve. She got her first ever prosthesis to help her learn to ride only 2 weeks before that. She has learnt to ride a bicycle for the first time in her life in February 2011 and, with the aid of her expert coaches, plans to excel as a cyclist.
