Diane DiMeo Biography
Chef DiMeos restaurant credits are long and extensive. She is known for her global knowledge in cuisine, her exceptional art of pastries and savory food and is an expert on food fusions and flavor profiles. Self- taught, Chef Diane has been an Executive Chef for restaurants such as Perle and the Black Duck, and a Pastry Chef for restaurants such as Patois and Les Deux Cafe. Her career as an expert in the field has helped her create DiMeo Restaurant Group and has led her to the opening of over 20 restaurants and the consultation of even more, including the Imanta Resort in Punta De Mita, Taina Restaurant (formerly Mamajuana Caf), Habana Caf (Brooklyn), Boca Grande (Jersey City), Ashtons Alley (NYC), Lemon Grass, Shish (Connecticut), and Ottos (Freeport). Chef DiMeo also has the Moveable Raw Bar which will be featured on ABC News, and happens monthly in various locations nationwide. In addition, she has her own line of pickles and sauces called Bootleg Farms, which can be found in Dean and Deluca, Whole Foods, Farmacy, Opensky, Gourmet Guild, Abes Market and a variety of online stores.
