Donna Wright

Donna Wright, MS, RN, NPD-BC is a nurse and a team and leadership healthcare professional development consultant and specialist with Creative Health Care Management. She is a bestselling and award-winning author. Wright holds degrees in Nursing, Family Sociology, and Adult Education. Wright has worked with many health care organizations to help them create meaningful, effective programs that support professional development and competency assessment for all departments.

Donna is a sought-after team and leadership development consultant and speaker. She operationalizes systems within organizations to assure accountability and measure competency. With her background as an oncology nurse and her extensive experience working with health care executives, Donna understands how health care organizations and the caregivers at every level within them work and how they can work better together.

She is the author of the book, "The Ultimate Guide to Competency Assessment in Healthcare," which has been translated into Japanese and is being used throughout Japan. Her most recent publication is "The Competency Assessment Field Guide."
