Dr. Diana Sorrentino, Ph.D.

Dr. Diana Sorrentino Is a member of the Lehigh Valley Paladin organization’s team of professionals who specialize in Workplace Security as well as Internal & External Investigations.

Her primary area of responsibility focuses on Risk & Threat Assessments, Behavioral Analysis & Criminal Profiling in addition to her expertise with Critical Incident & Crisis Preparedness, Intervention & Management. Dr. Sorrentino’s academic credentials include: Doctorate in Sociology: Middle East & Islamic Studies Doctorate in Psychology, Psychology of Criminal Behavior.

The breadth and depth of her knowledge, experience, skills and resources are as comprehensive as they are diverse. Her career, which encompasses a period of over 40+ years, includes service as an intelligence operative, researcher & analyst for government agencies with a focus on Counter Terrorism, Counter Insurgency and Counter Intelligence Operations within the Middle East, Central & Southwest Asia regions.

Additional services also includes providing Behavioral Analysis, Threat Assessment and Interrogation services on criminal matters for prosecutors and defense attorneys for capital murder cases.

Dr. Sorrentino participated in the Homeland Security Forum at DeSales University contributing content for their Undergraduate and Graduate Homeland Security programs. In addition to her advisory and consulting Services; Dr. Sorrentino designs, develops, implements and presents customized professional development & educational programs; In-service training & continuing education programs for conferences, seminars & symposiums.

These programs; addressing the critical areas where so much knowledge, understanding and comprehension is lacking at the local and regional level, are designed, developed and presented for the diverse clientele of the Lehigh Valley Paladin organization and her LGBTQ+ Community and WPATH activities.

Comprehensive programs on diversity, equity, equality, inclusion & paradoxes of gender; transgender acceptance and understanding in the workplace; professional development programs for medical and mental health professionals who are working with transgender patients; in addition to delivering key note addresses, lectures and seminars on LGBTQ+ Community issues for schools, colleges, universities, businesses and professional organizations are a significant part of her work.

Dr. Sorrentino is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health
