Eliot Higgins is an award-winning journalist and the founder of the Brown Moses Blog and Bellingcat, a platform recognized for its innovative use of open-source intelligence in investigative journalism.

Bellingcat has become a pivotal resource in the realm of international affairs, employing videos, maps, and pictures to promote citizen journalism. The platform extensively covers critical global events, including the Syrian Civil War, the downing of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17, and the use of chemical weapons in Syria. Initially started under the pseudonym "Brown Moses," Higgins's work has significantly impacted journalism, justice, and accountability, attracting a global following and influencing media outlets and agencies worldwide.

In addition to his journalistic endeavors, Higgins serves on the Technology Advisory Board for the International Criminal Court and continues to expand his influence through Bellingcat Productions, which focuses on creating documentaries and dramatizations based on Bellingcat's investigations.
