Eric Metaxas

Eric Metaxas is a #1 New York Times bestselling author of titles including "Bonhoeffer", "Miracles", and "Martin Luther". He has authored more than thirty children’s books, such as "Squanto and the Miracle of Thanksgiving" and "It’s Time to Sleep, My Love", illustrated by Nancy Tillman. His books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages. Alongside his books for children, Metaxas has written "Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery", which further cements his reputation as a versatile writer.

He hosts the "Eric Metaxas Radio Show", a nationally syndicated radio and TV program aired in over 120 cities around the U.S. and as a weekly television show on TBN. This show features in-depth interviews with notable figures such as Ron Howard, Mel Gibson, Morgan Freeman, and Peter Thiel. Metaxas also founded and hosts "Socrates in the City", an event series featuring discussions on life's profound topics, with past guests including Malcolm Gladwell and Cal Thomas.

In addition to his media engagements, Metaxas serves as Senior Fellow and Lecturer at Large at The King's College in New York City. He routinely speaks to audiences nationally and internationally, including a recent address at the Hillsdale College Commencement. His influence extends into journalism, with writings published in The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Atlantic.

Metaxas was born in 1963 in New York City and raised in Danbury, Connecticut. He graduated from Yale University and currently resides in Manhattan, New York, with his wife and daughter. His career and contributions have been recognized with honorary doctorates from institutions such as Hillsdale College, Liberty University, and Sewanee: The University of the South.
