Evander Holyfield

On October 19, 1962, in Atmore, Alabama. Evander Holyfield was born. A child with limitless capabilities, raw potential, and unwavering tenacity. With the unwavering support of his mother Annie. At the tender age of 21, and riding the success of winning a bronze medal at the 1984 Olympic Games. Sporting an amateur record of 160-14, Holyfield decided to turn professional. In 1986, he defeated Dwight Muhammad Qawi to win his First WBA Cruiserweight world title. He became the undisputed cruiserweight champion by unifying the WBC and IBF titles.

In 1988, he decided to move up to heavyweight. In 1990, he became world heavyweight champion by defeating Buster Douglas and unifying the WBA, WBC and IBF titles.

Between 1990 and 2001, Holyfield won the world heavyweight championship four times, becoming a living legend. His fights were modern epics, each punch an echo of his courage and determination.
