Gabriele Zedlmayer

Gabi Zedlmayer drives social innovation programs aligned with HPs business strategy. She leads a global team of experts focused on solving social issues with HP talent and technology and enriching society and driving economic growth by giving people and businesses innovative ways to be more creative, productive and successful using the power of information. Her team works to develop and deliver social innovations in education, healthcare, entrepreneurship and community engagement.

In addition, she leads HPs Global Citizenship Council and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the EU Commission e-skills Leadership Board and HAAS Center for Business Responsibility.

Gabi also leads the Executive Diversity Forum for HP in EMEA and is a member of the Womens Council of HypoVereinsbank UNICREDIT.

Previously, Gabi was vice president of corporate marketing for HPs Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, where she was responsible for comprehensive global marketing strategy. She led regional branding efforts and marketing initiatives, including corporate communications, internal communications, brand and digital strategy, advertising, and global citizenship.Since joining the company in 1987, Gabi has held several positions within HP EMEA, including head of corporate affairs; vice president of marketing services, corporate marketing and customer relationship management for the enterprise systems group (ESG); and general manager of ESG marketing and solutions.

Previously, she was assistant chair in numerous departments at the University of Miami, including finance and operations management, and she published a wide range of papers on investments and financial management. Gabi earned a bachelors degree in business from Georgia State University and a masters degree in finance from the University of Miami.
