Garcelle Beauvais is a Haitian-American actress, television personality, author, and former fashion model. She is best known for her starring roles in the sitcom "The Jamie Foxx Show" and the crime drama series "NYPD Blue." She also appeared in a range of films including "Coming to America" (1988) and its 2021 sequel, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" (2017), and alongside stars like Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum in "White House Down" (2013). Beauvais's notable film roles extend to performances in "Flight," directed by Robert Zemeckis, where she played Denzel Washington's wife, as well as in "American Gun," "Women in Trouble," "Barbershop 2: Back in Business," and "Bad Company."
