George Johnson

George Johnson is an American journalist and science writer who regularly contributes to The New York Times, including the monthly column "Raw Data". His writing also appears in other notable publications such as National Geographic, Scientific American, The Atlantic, Time, Slate, and Wired. His insightful contributions have been recognized in "The Best American Science Writing". A former Alicia Patterson fellow, Johnson has been honored with awards from both PEN and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. His books have twice been finalists for the Royal Society's book prize.
