Geraldine Calpin equips Hilton and its 14 brands to meaningfully connect with guests and provide exceptional guest experiences. She oversees a global team of marketing, communications, creative and digital specialists. Geraldine launched the largest marketing campaign in Hilton history and was recognised by CNN as one of 11 people “changing the way we travel.” She’s been deemed a 2015 'Travel Vanguard,' a 'Woman to Watch, and one of 2017’s Most Technology Savvy CMOs. Previously, Geraldine led Hilton Digital, inviting guests to turn their smartphones into the remote control to their stay. Technology now revolutionizes experiences at Hilton’s 4,900+ properties globally.

Geraldine Calpin is the CMO at Hilton Worldwide, responsible for setting the strategic direction for Hilton’s digital guest agenda, and maximising commercial advantage from all direct digital channels. Ms. Calpin joined Hilton Worldwide in 2002. During her tenure, she was responsible for the launch of Hilton’s pioneering digital check-in with room selection solution at over 4,000 hotels, the introduction of its eCommerce function and the development of its unique eCommerce and demand generation program for hotels globally. Ms.Calpin was recognised in 2015 by CNN as one of the 11 people globally who are changing the way we travel. Prior to joining Hilton Worldwide, Ms. Calpin held various roles within the travel industry, including sales, planning, operations and marketing roles at Trusthouse Forte and Le Méridien Hotels.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Calpin has led the creation of award winning, breakthrough, digital innovations, transforming the guest experience by providing unrivalled choice and control. As Chief Marketing Officer at Hilton Worldwide, she leads a team that tells our brands’ stories, and gives our guests a “dream and shop” experience that is second to none, while continuing to deliver leading digital services. Recently, Calpin led Hilton Worldwide teams that have enabled our guests to turn their smartphones into the remote control for their hotel stay with a suite of digital tools including digital check-in, room selection, pre-arrival requests, digital key and more. Previously, she created and implemented the global eCommerce function, supporting every hotel globally to drive commercial results through the direct digital channels.
