Gina Bianchini

Gina Bianchini is the Founder & CEO of Mighty Networks, a platform designed to usher in a new era of creative business built on community. Previously known as the founder of Mightybell, Bianchini has consistently been at the forefront of building community-driven platforms. She co-founded Ning with Netscape co-founder Marc Andreessen, which grew to serve approximately 100 million people across 300,000 active social networks. Under her leadership, Ning became a top 100 global website and one of the most valuable start-ups in Silicon Valley, boasting nearly 50 million registered users and engaging 90 million people globally each month.

Bianchini has been recognized on several prestigious lists including Fortune Magazine's "40 under 40," Huffington Post's 10 technology "Ultimate Game Changers," and 7x7 magazine's "Hot 20" list. She was also named one of the Top 100 People in the Valley by Business 2.0. Her insights and expertise have been featured in media outlets such as Fast Company, Wired, Vanity Fair, Bloomberg, and The New York Times. Bianchini has made television appearances on programs including Charlie Rose, CNBC, and CNN, discussing topics ranging from technology to entrepreneurship.

In addition to her role at Mighty Networks, Bianchini serves as a board director of TEGNA (NYSE: TGNA), a $3 billion broadcast and digital media company. She previously served as a board director of Scripps Networks, which merged with Discovery Communications in 2018. Bianchini launched her first online course in 2019, the "Community Design Masterclass," which successfully generated six figures in just four months. She holds an M.B.A from Stanford Business School and started her career in the High Technology Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Bianchini also serves as an advisor to The Clayman Institute for Gender Research at Stanford University; the List Project, a non-profit to resettle Iraqi allies in the U.S.; and She Writes, the largest social network for women writers globally. She offers talks on topics such as designing communities for impact, launching ventures on the internet, and harnessing the internet for career growth.
