Guy Pearce

Guy Pearce is an actor known for his diverse performances in film, television, and theater. Raised in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, Pearce showed an early interest in performing and was active in local theater productions during his youth. His talent soon led him to television, where he became widely known through his work in the Australian soap opera "Neighbours," becoming a household name in Australia. In 2022, Pearce reprised his role as Mike Young for the show's final episode.

Pearce's international breakthrough came with his role as drag queen Adam/Felicia in the film "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert." He solidified his place in Hollywood with roles in "L.A. Confidential," where he portrayed a by-the-book detective, and "Memento," Christopher Nolan's thriller that showcased Pearce’s range and earned him widespread acclaim. Pearce also played roles in "The Hurt Locker," "The King's Speech," and notably as Aldrich Killian in the Marvel action film "Iron Man 3."

In addition to his work in major films, Pearce has consistently embraced diverse roles. He portrayed Peter Weyland in "Prometheus" and "Alien: Covenant." Off-screen, Pearce pursues his passion for music, releasing his first album "Broken Bones" in 2014 and his second studio album, "The Nomad," in 2018. In addition to his current role, he has appeared in the films "Sunrise," "Inside," "Killing Faith," "The Convert," and "The Woman in Cabin 10," as well as David Cronenberg's "The Shrouds." In 2024, he costarred in "The Brutalist," which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
