Heather Malenshek Biography
Heather Malenshek serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Land O’Lakes, one of America's premier agribusiness and food companies. In this role, she oversees business-to-consumer and business-to-business brand and marketing strategy, messaging development and execution excellence. She also has oversight for Curious Plot, a Land O’Lakes subsidiary.
Prior to Land O’Lakes, Heather was CMO of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Her career has spanned a range of industries including airline, finance, pharmaceuticals, automotive, food and beverage, pet care and more. Forbes recognized her as one of the world’s most influential CMOs in 2018 and 2019.
Malenshek was born in Scotland and grew up next to her uncle’s farm, where she developed her love of animals -- especially horses and dogs. She is a graduate of London City University and Aberdeen College. A member of the CMO Collective and PTTOW!, she serves as a board member for the Ad Council and Oobli, as well as Board President for Hunkapi Programs, an equine therapy farm.
