Heather White

Dr. Heather White is a strategic networking specialist with over two decades of experience in developing networking strategies and frameworks. She founded her first business in 1999, emphasizing the importance of strategic networking for achieving success. In 2001, she established Smarter Networking to support organizations in unlocking their internal values for talent and sales. Her work has benefited leading UK organizations such as Ernest & Young, Telstra International, KPMG, and RBS.

White is recognized as an international keynote speaker specializing in strategic networking. Her Smarter Networking Framework is designed to foster long-term trusted relationships and deliver significant results. She offers keynotes on various topics including networking for career advancement, creating personal brands, and effective business communication. Through her presentations, she challenges attendees to think outside their comfort zones and aims to transform everyone into an effective and authentic networker.

Before her focus on strategic networking, White served in numerous administrative roles at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, most recently as director of educational programs at UAB’s Sparkman Center for Global Health. She served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa, after receiving her Master’s of Public Health degree in International Health and Epidemiology from UAB in 2001. She received her Doctor of Public Health degree from UAB in 2011.
