Hisham Tawfiq is an American actor best known for his role as Dembe on NBC's "The Blacklist." Tawfiq's journey to acting came after a diverse career, including serving as a Marine in Operation Desert Storm, working as a New York City firefighter for over 20 years, and performing as a dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
